Your ticket holders can now sell their tickets directly to their friends, family or colleagues using Moshtix's new Private Resale Feature.
What (does it do):
- Allows fans to list their ticket for resale, and provides them a unique link to share with their buyer directly.
- Gives fans more control and flexibility over the sale of their tickets if they can no longer make an event.
- Allows event organisers to offer resale up to and during the event so fans have even more flexibility.
Limitations
Is there anything important that this cannot do?
- Resale tickets are currently only discoverable via the private link. You cannot search for resale tickets on the Moshtix website or event pages without this link.
- Customers cannot list a ticket for resale while that ticket is currently subject to a Ticket Return request.
Does this need to be implemented by a Team?
- Private Resale by default is enabled for all ticket types on all events. To enable only certain ticket types, please speak with your Client Manager
Does this have a Paid component or a Cost associated with it?
- Yes there is a service fee for the facilitation of the resale for fans/customers. This is applied per ticket and is displayed when listing tickets for resale.
- The service fee will be deducted from the resale sale price before it is paid to the buyer.
- This does not have a paid component for clients to offer resale on events.
Does this functionality need approval?
- This functionality will be enabled by default across all ticket types/events/clients. To have this disabled, or to have only certain ticket types enabled, you will need approval from your Client Manager.
