Add / Edit / Delete Meta Pixels on Your Events or Account

Before adding a pixel, you must have your account and tracking set up with Meta - if you haven't used Meta before, please review their Support Information on how to get started.

What to expect:

For Meta, you have the option of third-party tracking or our Conversion API server-side tracking solution.

Third-party:

• Your pixel ID only contains numbers and will not include any special characters or spaces
• Example -12345678901234567

Conversion API (Optional):

• This requires an additional API Token that you can generate within the Meta platform. Visit Events Manager to generate your token and follow Meta's instructions

Adding a Meta Pixel

1. Click on '+ Pixel ID'

2. Select which event you want this pixel to apply to using the dropdown.

   • Or, Enable this pixel to be applied to all events.

3. Input your pixel ID

   • (Optional step) if you want to enable our Conversion API tracking, enter your API Token

4. Click Save

Your Meta Pixel is now saved and active and you will begin receiving data into your Meta account. Added pixels can also be edited and deleted.  

Editing a Meta Pixel

1. Expand the event/s within the list of Added Pixels to find the pixel to edit.

2. Click Edit ID

3. Update or replace the Pixel ID 

4. Click the check icon to save your changes.

   1. You can click the cross icon to close the edit without saving changes.

Deleting a Meta Pixel

1. Locate the event under Added Pixels

2. Click the Bin icon to delete all pixels for that event

3. Click Delete in the confirmation modal to remove the pixel

   1. Click Cancel to go back without deleting.
