Creating packaged tickets is a great way to bundle ticket’s together which allow customers to automatically be issued tickets and also allow them to select inclusions such as a shirt size as part of a package bundle. Follow these steps to set up package tickets.
There are 2 parts to package inclusions
- Included ticket types which will be automatically issued at point of purchase
- Tickets that require a selection of some sort (some examples are A shirt size selection or a timed session)
How to Enable Packages:
- Go to the “Advanced Options” of the ticket you want to sell as a package.
- Locate the "Enable Packages" option and click to enable.
- Enabling packages will disable that ticket type in box office, click Enable to proceed.
How to create an Automatically Included Ticket:
- On the packaged tickets you have created, click on “Advanced Options” and scroll down to “Package” (enable with steps above if you haven’t already done so).
- Under "Ticket Types" click on "Search to Add Ticket Types."
- Select the ticket you want to be automatically included in the package.
- Specify the quantity for this ticket in this package.
How to create a Selectable Option:
- For tickets customers can choose, go to the advanced options of the ticket types that customers can select from.
- Give each selectable option a tag (e.g., "shirts" in this example).
- Repeat this process for all required ticket types.
- On the package ticket you have created, click on “Advanced Options” and scroll down to “Package” (enable with steps above if you haven’t already done so).
- Under "Groups of Ticket Types" click on “Allow claim after initial purchase” and then add the tag you have created in the steps above. Give this a quantity based on how many selections customers would be entitled to with this package (QTY from Group) and how many tickets should be able to be claimed on a per ticket level.

Package Tickets Important Notes:
- Packages have the ability to automatically scale. If for example you have package inclusion that entitles the customer to 1 Album (Automatically included) and 1 Shirt (Selectable inclusion) and the customer selects 2 of the packaged ticket type. They would then have 2 Album’s included with their ticket and have the ability to select up to 2 shirts with their required shirt size.
- If you have for example Album purchases running simultaneously as both a paid addon and included with a packaged ticket. If the Album allocation sells out then the packaged ticket type will also become exhausted (even if there is still allocation on the package). This means you can run both simultaneously and know that there will be no risk of overselling.
- Packaged ticket types will always exhaust if anything included in the packaged ticket is unavailable. This could be because an inclusion is sold out, not on sale or is hidden from sale. If you need an inclusion to be available for sale as part of a package only and not visible on the main purchase page. Click on “Advanced options” of the inclusion and click on “Set as Package Inclusion Only”. This will hide the ticket type from the main purchase page but still allow for it to be included in a packaged ticket.
