Venue and/or Promoter holds can be created in two different ways.
It can be a really simple request, or come through as something that looks a little more complicated. We would action these requests creating hidden ticket types as per the below examples.
1) Log In to your Moshtix Control room. Not sure how? See our helpful, 'How to Log In' guide here.
2) Once logged in, either create a new event or select the event in your list you wish to create holds for.
3) Navigate to the TICKET DETAILS tab.
Example 1 - Simple
Venue Cap = 1200 (Sellable Allocation = 1100, Promoter Holds = 100)
When creating the ticket type(s) for your Venue/Promoter Holds, click on Advanced Options and scroll down Ticket distribution and tick Set as ‘Comp ticket’. You will notice this will automatically tick Hide tickets from sale as you do not want these ticket types visible to the public.
SAVE
Example 2 - Complex
Venue Cap = 1500 (General Admission Standing)
Hold Manifest
Artist: 30
Support: 6
Promoter: 30
Media: 16
Venue: 10
*After holds have been placed, please split remaining available allocation between Presale and GP
(We recommend enabling allocation groups for this type of request).
*There are a total of 92 holds for this event. To work out the allocations for Presale and GP you would minus 92 from 1500 and then split 50/50.
SAVE
We recommend sending a screenshot to the holds requester for their approval before the event goes live. Via the menu on the left hand side, select Reports>Reporting Dashboard, type in your event and Display Report.
Please note that the Ticket Name is what is printed on your customers PDF tickets.
