Moshtix's Complimentary Tool allows users to issue any ticket type on their event as a complimentary ticket, making it simple and efficient to issue tickets to attendees and manage issued complimentary tickets.
When issuing a ticket type as a complimentary ticket, the same allocation is shared, meaning, that complimentary tickets issued are taken out of the overall allocation for that ticket type.
If you want to manage ticket allocations separately, you can still create specific ticket types as Complimentary Tickets only and issue those through the tool. See below guide to set up Complimentary Tickets.
1) Log In to your Moshtix Control room. Not sure how? See our helpful, 'How to Log In' guide here.
2) Once logged in you will land on your 'Manage Events' page. Click on the event you would like to create complimentary tickets for.
3) Navigate to the TICKET DETAILS tab to create your Complimentary Ticket Type.
4) Create a New Ticket Type and call it Complimentary Ticket. Add in a Quantity (you can increase or decrease this at any time) and then leave the Base Price & Total Online Price blank.
5) Click on Advanced Options & tick “Set as ‘Comp Ticket’”. You will notice this will also Hide Tickets from Sale so they won’t be visible to the public, and set the price to $0.00.
6) Scroll up and click on SAVE.
