What (does it do):
When enabled, the waitlist sits at the top of the event page and encourages potential buyers and fans to enter their contact details to receive updates about the availability of the event, while also opting in to receive additional marketing from the event organiser, artist or Moshtix.
Why (use it):
Leverage the waitlist feature to improve your subscriber lists and extend the potential reach of email and SMS marketing campaigns.
When (best events/time to use it)
The Event Waitlist can be enabled at any time. However, the best results are found when enabling the Waitlist on events that are announced and not yet onsale, sold out or likely to sell out.
How (to use):
Log into the Control Room and open the Event you want to enable the waitlist for:
- Click Ticket Details
- Scroll down to Features
- Select an option for the Waitlist:
- Disabled: Never show the waitlist on the event
- Enabled - Always On: Always show the waitlist on the event
- Enabled - When Sold Out: Show the waitlist on the event when ticket allocations are sold out.
- Save the Event.
How to Access your Event Waitlist Subscriber List:
- Log into the Control Room
- Click Account
- Click Manage Membership
- Select the group for the Event Name (Waitlist)
- Select / download the list of signups.
