Your purchase data is stored in a nested custom attribute name customer_purchase_data.
To access this in a Segment, go to Custom Attributes > Nested Custom Attributes and choose customer_purchase_history

- In a Segment, go to Custom Attributes > Nested Custom Attributes and choose customer_purchase_history
- In Properties, Select event_id
- And then add in your id

- In a Segment, go to Custom Attributes > Nested Custom Attributes and choose customer_purchase_history
- In Properties, select event_genre and then equals (or contains any of). Valid genres are

Segment by recurring event
- In a Segment, go to Custom Attributes > Nested Custom Attributes and choose customer_purchase_history
- In Properties, select name and then âmatches regexâ and add in the name (or partial name) of your event.
E.g. if you have a recurring emo night named âEmo Nightâ, you can put matches regex Emo, and it will match every event with Emo in it.

Segment by State
- In a Segment, go to Custom Attributes > Nested Custom Attributes and choose state

Segment by Link Alias (Link Clicks)
- Select the past campaign you want to track links clicked for.
- Click âPreview & Heatmapâ
- Make sure you toggle âShow Heatmapâ on
- Make a note of each link you want to track. e.g. link59, link60, link61
- Go to âAudienceâ, then âSegmentsâ
- Click âCreate Segmentâ
- Create a filter using âClicked Alias in Campaignâ
- Clicked Link = true
- Select the campaign you want to track clicks for and enter the link alias
- Click âORâ and repeat the process if there are multiple links you want to include in your segment
- Click âSaveâ
- You can now select this audience in future campaigns under Target Audiences
Segment by Waitlist
- Log into Moshtix Control Room and find the Waitlist ID by heading to Account > Manage Membership
- Copy the Waitlist ID for the event you wish to create a segment in Braze for.
- Head to Segments in Braze and click âCreate Segmentâ
- Create your Waitlist segment by using the below filters: Custom Attributes > customer_wait_lists > matches regex > waitlist ID
- After saving your segment, you can now select this segment under âTarget Audienceâ when scheduling your email.
- By default, Braze only sends to users who are subscribed to marketing communications. However, for waitlist specific emails, youâre allowed to contact all users who have signed up to the waitlist, even if theyâre not subscribed to marketing in general. To do this, you just need to select 'All users including unsubscribed users' under Target Audiences when scheduling the email. That will ensure the full waitlist receives the release notification.
