What (does it do):

The Moshtix Purchase widget embeds the full purchase flow directly on your website, allowing fans to select and complete their ticket purchase from your event page without redirecting.

Why (use it):

The purchase widget is best suited to clients who value a branded experience and currently have events on their website.  This innovation streamlines the customer experience, eliminating the need to redirect buyers to Moshtix for checkout, hosting the entire Moshtix purchasing journey all within this improved widget, and keeping customers engaged on your site. With this solution, you can showcase your events while maintaining your brand identity through the entire ticket-purchasing experience. 

Requirements

This will need to be implemented by a web developer or someone who can add the widget embed to your website. 

How to embed the Moshtix Purchase Widget

Contact your Moshtix Client Manager contact and request your website domain be added to the 'allow checkout widget' settings for your client account.

FAQ's

Q: Can I use this widget with API or RSS feeds?

The checkout widget can be used alongside Moshtix API or RSS powered event feeds, enabling Moshtix clients to offer a seamless branded discover and checkout experience for fans on their own website.

If you already have the RSS feed or an API set-up on your website, Simply embed the checkout widget to complete the journey for your customers!

Q: How does this differ from other Moshtix redirects/embeds I already have?

The new and improved purchase widget provides a modernised checkout experience and supports more of the purchase flow than the previous solutions, It also does not require customers to leave your website to complete their purchase. 

Q: I use skinned event pages, will these be viewable in the widget?

Yes! The new purchase widget will keep your customised theme on the event page just as it would directly on the Moshtix website! 

Q: Does the widget support all payment options?

The widget supports the same payment options as the Moshtix website except ApplePay, which, due to iframe security restrictions imposed by Apple is unavailable.

If selecting ZipPay or Paypal, the payment will be completed outside of the widget before redirecting for purchase confirmation. 

Q: I've added the widget but I can't see some sections of the event page?

For the best experience within the widget on both desktop and mobile, some sections of the event pages have been hidden, The event page and checkout flow will still display all the event details, ticket details and options during checkout.
